Membership Form and Fee Payment

 There are two choices for membership registration and fee payment:
(1) by mail
(2) on-line: Fill out and "Submit" the membership form below and pay by either Interac e-Transfer (preferred) or by Credit Card using PayPal.

Membership Definitions

Members include "property owners" and immediate family members. Up to three votes per cottage property are permitted at general meetings.

"Associate Members" are individuals or other legal entities who are not property owners in the Upper French River Area but who share the ideals and goals of the UFRCA. “Associate Members” have all the rights of regular members except voting privileges.  

One e-mail address is linked to each membership. If other family members wish to receive newsletters and e-mail updates directly, they must have separate memberships. Otherwise, members are urged to forward newsletters to family members.

Keep your membership information current. If you change your e-mail address or mailing address, contact
info@ufrca.com and don't miss any newsletters and e-mail updates.

Membership Year and Fee
The UFRCA "Membership Year" begins on July 1 and ends June 30. The fee is $35 per year.

A note about geographic coordinates:
You will be asked to provide your cottage location. Use Google Earth or Google Maps. Please use decimal degree notation (rather than degrees, minutes, seconds) when providing your GPS coordinates: e.g. N 46.2489  W -79.9120  Rounding to 4 decimal places gives accuracy to 11 metres, which should be close enough to get an emergency responder to your dock!

Choice 2: Pay Online

Complete and submit the form below. Some fields may not apply to all, but please fill in where possible.

Payment is a separate process done after submitting this on-line form.

 

Go to your banking web site now to pay by Interac e-Transfer.
To pay by Interac e-Transfer, you must have an account at a Canadian financial institution and use on-line banking. If your limit has not been exceeded, there is no charge. Access your bank’s web site and the page you use to pay bills. Select “Add INTERAC e-Transfer Recipient” (or similar) and add a recipient to the list of payees you use to pay bills on-line. Once done, it will be in your list of "payees".
For the recipient name, enter Upper French River Cottagers. The fee is $35 and some add an extra donation.

You will be asked for a security question and answer. To facilitate the process, we ask that all use the the same question and answer.

Or continue below and click on Buy Now to pay by Credit Card via PayPal.
If you elect to pay by Credit Card using PayPal, select a payment amount ($35 or optional higher amounts with donations). Click on Buy Now. This takes you to the independent PayPal web site and payment page. There is a small extra charge of $1.50 if you do not have a personal PayPal account. It is not necessary to have a PayPal account. PayPal will issue a receipt.

Privacy Note:
As required by the Canada Privacy Act (2004) any personal information provided to the UFRCA (e.g. membership information - address, e-mail, etc.) will be used only for direct correspondence from the UFRCA Board of Directors to you and, if permitted by you, in the UFRCA Directory which is provided only to members. Membership information will remain confidential and will not be shared or sold to any person, organization, institution, or government agency.
